For Ming Hua He, CCE's director, nothing is closer to her heart than the work her organization accomplishes every day to help bridge the gap between adoptive families and their children's Chinese culture.

Since 1995 Ming has played an integral part in fostering relations between the local Chinese communities and adoptive families.  As a native of Harbin, Manchuria, Ming was a tour coordinator and a teacher at Heilongjiang University for many years.  It is an understatement to say that she knows China well!

For the past thirteen years, working as an adoption consultant, she has helped hundreds realize the dream of growing their families through adoption.  As an extension of that work, Ming uses her knowledge of China, its people and the country to design homeland reunion tours tailored to each family.  Having traveled extensively through China, Ming offers a unique perspective that allows the families traveling with her to experience the heart of China and its people.  "I pledge to do everything possible to make your Homeland Tour a truly moving and memorable experience for both you and your child."
