annual trip to Chinatown in New York for adoptive families with children
from China on May 29,

On route, learn the history of
Chinatown and some simple Chinese language. Brunch at the best Hong Kong style restaurant for an authentic dim sum
and attend a traditional tea ceremony. Tour beyond the tourist traps to
the Chinatown markets, street vendors and emporiums to find your
greatest bargains. Shop for CDs of children’s songs, riddles and rhythms
and other cultural products at local bookstore. Learn to identify
products from behind their exotic packaging while listening to Ming’s
explanation on how to use these unique items. Visit the Buddhist Temple
and Museum of Chinese in the Americas and end the tour with an optional
but excellent Asian Massage for a small fee.
